Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is the most common form of kidney cancer. The rate of new RCC diagnoses is rising by 2% a year, which is a far faster rate than any other cancer. In the U.S., 275,000 patients are screened for kidney cancer every year, and 55,000 are diagnosed with RCC.
